soprano Mariah WilsonMariah Wilson is establishing herself as an emerging performer, teacher, and conductor. She was first introduced to musical training at age 4 at the Paris Conservatory, and has continued her studies with teachers in France, Belgium, Germany and the United States. In Boston, she sings for the Handel & Haydn Society and Genesis Chamber Choir, and teaches at Boston University and the New England Conservatory Preparatory School.

Constantly rebuffing pressures to focus on one instrument, she has given concerts on the violin, piano, harp and voice in Utah, California, Paris, Brussels and Hong Kong. A love of collaboration and drama has led her to work as an Opera Chorus Master for: Boston University’s Opera Institute, Utah Lyric Opera, Brigham Young University’s opera program, and Utah’s Young Artist Studio and Principle Artist Programs. Because sacred music has always been a part of Mariah’s musical pursuits, she is particularly thrilled to join the Sounds of Stow for this religious work.  Her bachelors and masters are from Brigham Young University, and she is currently pursuing her doctorate in Choral Conducting from Boston University.
