Hannah Klein 2016Hannah Klein (mezzo-soprano), 17, is from Concord, Massachusetts. She is a senior at The Cambridge School of Weston, and studies with Angela Gooch. Hannah fell in love with music at the age of 3, and played the violin for several years. She migrated toward singing after being part of several choruses and plays. She currently enjoys singing with the Handel and Haydn Society’s Young Women’s Chorus and Young Women’s Chamber Choir, and recently performed on NPR’s From the Top with Host Christopher O’Reilly. Hannah’s accomplishments as a vocalist are numerous, from receiving an Honorable Mention in the YoungArts 2016 Competition, first place in the Classical Division of National Association of Teachers of Singing Boston in their 2015 competition, and being a merit scholar in Boston University’s Tanglewood Institute Young Artists Vocal Program, to name a few. Outside of music, Hannah enjoys costume and clothing design, babysitting, knitting, and jewelry-making.
