Dianne Mahany has been active as a chamber musician and orchestral clarinetist on the local
music scene for many years. Dianne was Principal Clarinetist in the Wellesley Symphony
Orchestra from 2001-2016, and served on its Board of Directors from 2003-2018. She is now
Principal Clarinetist of the Carlisle Chamber Orchestra, and remains an active community
chamber music player. She is Assistant Treasurer and long-time Board member and officer of
the Chamber Music Conference, which runs a 4-week program for amateur chamber musicians
each summer.

Dianne is a retired computer industry business manager, business school adjunct professor, and
small business development consultant, with a BA in philosophy from Tufts University and an
MBA from Babson College. She lives in Sudbury, where she loves hosting a wonderful wind
quintet every other week.
