Vanessa Moya, mezzo-soprano

Vanessa Moya (mezzo-soprano) sings across all styles of classical music from
contemporary opera world premieres to Handel oratorios. Her past oratorio performances include The Messiah, Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater, and Vivaldi’s Gloria. She recently covered Sesto (La Clemenza di Tito) with Opera del West and will perform Mamma Lucia (Cavalleria Rusticana) with Opera51 this coming June.

Vanessa holds a M.M. from Longy School of Music of Bard College where she studied
with Dana Varga, and a B.M. from Stetson University where she studied with Jane Christeson
and received the Orestes Santos Music Scholarship for high-achieving Cuban American music students.
