State of Massachusetts honors Barbara Jones and Sounds of Stow! Award presented by Representative, Kate Hogan
At the 40th Anniversary Celebration Concert on March 24, Representative Kate Hogan presented Founder and Artistic Director Barbara Jones with a Resolution from the Massachusetts House of Representatives honoring her achievements and The Sounds of Stow. The Resolution acknowledges that under the 40 year leadership of Barbara Jones, “The Sounds of Stow has become a cultural resource committed to bringing together individuals of diverse backgrounds and talents to perform a repertoire of the highest quality for the Stow Community and residents from around the State.” The Resolution also states “The Sounds of Stow is an asset to the Community and the Commonwealth in its work to increase the inclusivity of the Arts through its performances, collaboration, and outreach.”
